Ritual Herbs Mild Silver fine cut 10g
This blend also comes as Mild – same size, different character.
Character
Ritual Herbs Mild Silver 10 g is the same recipe as the large pouch, only in a smaller quantity. Same blend ratio, same cut, the same slightly more pronounced character compared with Mild. The small pack is meant for anyone trying Mild Silver for the first time or wanting to test both blends side by side before settling on a large pack. If you already know Mild and want to find out what a bit more character feels like, this is the way in.
The 10 g pouch is not a stripped-down version of Mild Silver but exactly the same product in a smaller quantity. If you have smoked tobacco before, or already know Mild and are looking for more character, this is a low-risk way to start without committing to a large supply.
The seven herbs
The small pack contains the same seven plant components as the large pouch, fully declared:
- Mullein leaves
- Blackberry leaves
- Lotus flower petals
- Hollyhock leaves
- Turmeric leaves
- Liquorice root
- Liquorice leaves
Full portraits of every plant are on the Ingredients page.
Where the herbs come from
The same origin as the large pouch: herbs mainly from Europe, complemented by selected, wild-picked components from India that grow without fertiliser and without chemical treatment. The processing takes place in Germany, using methods we developed over years. The 10 g pouch of Mild Silver is therefore not a simplified version but the same care in a smaller quantity, meant for anyone who wants to get to know the slightly more pronounced character before committing to the large pouch.
Processing and burn
The cut of Mild Silver is the same in both sizes, matched to the slightly stronger profile of this blend. In a small pack unevenness shows up faster, because there is less material to even it out. That is why every batch is checked for the same structure, regardless of pack size.
Residual moisture reacts more sensitively to open air in small quantities, which is why this pouch is resealable like the large pack. Seal it cleanly after every use – that applies here just as it does to the 25 g pouch. If you open and close the pouch often, try to leave as little air in the packaging as possible.
Use
The 10 g pack suits anything that does not call for a large supply: trying it out, taking it with you, or testing Mild Silver directly against Mild. If you only reach for it occasionally, this size often works out better, because the blend is used up before it loses its freshness.
Mild Silver 10 g handles just like the large pack – rolled by hand, stuffed with a machine or mixed with hemp, with the blend bringing a note of its own that Mild does not have. Smoked neat, the slightly more pronounced character shows on the very first draw.
If you got to know Mild first and are now moving to Mild Silver, you will usually notice the difference on opening the bag: the blend smells a touch spicier. When smoking, that shows in the finish rather than the first draw. Thin paper and a filter help here too, so that thick accessories do not drown out the character of the blend.
Storage
As with all Ritual Herbs products: cool, dry, out of the sun and sealed firmly after every use. Because the small pack is usually empty sooner, storage matters less here than with the 25 g pouch, though it is not irrelevant. If the blend does dry out, a glass of water next to the closed pouch for a few hours helps – never water directly on the herbs. Because a small quantity reacts faster to temperature swings, a fixed spot in a cupboard makes more sense than a changing spot in the kitchen.
Frequently asked questions
No, it is the same recipe, only in a smaller pack size.
Mainly for trying it out, or when both Ritual Herbs blends are to be tested side by side.
Somewhat more pronounced, but still calm and balanced. If you find Mild too restrained, Mild Silver offers more character.
If Mild Silver convinces you, yes. Per gram the large pouch is around 45 per cent cheaper.
No. Tobacco-free blends also produce smoke with the same basic combustion products when burned, only without nicotine.
Around 12 to 20 hand-rolled cigarettes, depending on how much you use. For regular use the 25 g pouch is worth it afterwards, as it is considerably cheaper per gram.
